If we have 31k to sell and also millwall that leave 28ish corp/club wembley tickets
How many will turn up for this game i think not many at all so
We could really be looking at a 50/60k attendance
Im personally not arsed but.the media wont half rub there hands together5 April 2013 at 1:50 pm #107685The Club Wembley seats were always going to be pretty much empty as they are for all but the “big” games
That bit holds 16,000 so knock the capacity down to 76,000Millwall & Latics got 62k so 14k are left to God knows who – in all likelihood the max attendance even if both clubs sold out was only ever going to be just over 60,000 anyway as it’s hardly a game to drag in the neutrals or persuade the hoity toitty’s to shimmy on down Wembley Way
Not that that’s stop the media having a dig – if it was anyone other than latics the focus would be on cost, kick off times etc.. As it’s Latics involved we all know what the focus will be

5 April 2013 at 2:02 pm #107689The bonus of having a half full stadium is that hopefully I’ll be able to convert my £30 seat to a £40 one for free. Taking 2 kids also, that’s a decent saving which wouldn’t have happened if we’d played at Villa Park for example.

5 April 2013 at 10:45 pm #107767Why are The FA Cup Semi Finals played at Wembley Stadium?
Playing the Semi-Finals at Wembley is part of the stadium’s business plan which allowed The FA to build a 90,000 seater national stadium, but with the significantly greater number of tickets available this will allow more fans to attend each of the showpiece fixtures.
As with any game, preparation is the key to a successful event. In previous years, a decision could not be made on a neutral and favourable Semi-Final venue until the competing teams had been decided. Obviously, elements such as the safety and security issues, transport issues, policing, supporter awareness of the venues and television schedules cannot be decided until a venue is decided. With the Semi-Final venue established well in advance we can therefore prepare for all these issues with a great deal more confidence.
There are attendants at the entrance to each individual section at Wembley, who are likely to direct you to the section you actually have a ticket for. After the kick-off, it will be possible to see where the empty seats are in the more expensive blocks. Whether it will be possible to move into them, I don’t know.

Blackpool couldn’t sell their quota for the Play Off Final. I don’t think the press made a big fuss about it.Wembley wasn’t full for the Bolton v Stoke semi final either. Att: 75,064
Bolton never got over their 5-0 defeat.6 April 2013 at 12:16 am #107788The Club Wembley seats were always going to be pretty much empty as they are for all but the “big” games

I happen to be one of the ‘hoity toitty’ as I have four club Wembley seats. Not actually using them for this game though as I have more than four family members going and we all want to sit together, so I’ve had to stick my hand in my pocket and buy a couple of tickets. I have put them up for sale at the lowest price through club wembley’s resale facility. No chance of selling them as the lowest price is £129 per ticket. I’ll listen to sensible offers from anyone on here though (cue Griff laughing at the thought of a sensible reply on here) ;)
