I wouldn’t worry about the ones on here Bullit. The ones on here have one thing in common despite their diverse opinions. The ones on here have blue blood (some mixed with cherry) running through their veins and the ones on here will be there in August and will be there next August whatever league position we finish.
I would worry about the supporters who will not be there, the ones we have gathered whilst times have been good but who are gradually dwindling away.
These are the ones who will dictate our position in the league.You, me, Horc, Lostock, Nuneaton,Sammy,Filmoss, Garswood,JR, Leyland, Eggy, Standish etc etc will still part with our hard earned money wherever Latics are.That reminds me. Not renewed yet!!!

Hopefully, will be renewing around the 17th after i’ve been paid.

I know you can’t get to every match, but it would still be cheaper for you in the long run and better for everyone else’s sanity.Has anyone got any further predictions now all the friendlies are out of the way and the squad is taking shape.
Confidence isn’t too high so far.
14 voters think we will go up whilst 10 reckon we will stay in League One.
Surely this weeks signings, and another week without any major players leaving must be a plus.Get voting, the season is nearly upon us!!!
The new signings haven’t got my pulse racing, after all none of them are our players and have no loyalty at all to us (neither have some of our own if an agent comes sniffing) but the nearer it gets to September and our own players haven’t been sold the more my confidence is building.

I’ve renewed every year since 1986, so maybe I can be in your little gang too.
True, I’ve uttered “not bloody going again” more than thrice, but the fact is, I’ve always gone again. It’s a loose comment…out of frustration. Nothing more. I probably renewed before many on here!If wanting my club to do well is a crime….I’m guilty as charged.

No excuses for not staying up unless there are more players leaving.Looking at the squad list, it looks like a very good squad to me. If we keep the key players and avoid the injury lists of the last few seasons to a minimum then I think we could be in for a good season.
I do however expect at least five more to be trimmed from the squad, Power, Bogle, Jack Byrne, Woolery and possibly Laurent. Hopefully that will be all.

I suppose we will let you be part of the gang VAT, we need as many as possible.
I did predict about 4 weeks ago (see above) that you would already have renewed.No excuses for not staying up unless there are more players leaving.

Well, that’s another gone with Woolery joining Swindon.
The chase for Bogle is hotting up with about 5 or 6 clubs showing an interest.
