Also giving gomez the task of getting close to parker is, at best, ridiculous… the closest he got to him was when they shook hands before the game. Did parker threaten him then ???
And Figueroa is dog cak at left back, even worse at centre half..
Finally -how can a manager give a radio interview the day before a home game stating….wait forr it….“winning matches isn’t a priority at the moment”

Diame was stood on the left wing at the game I was watching too.
How many more times will we here the word “proud” after another embarrasing display.
A 2-1 defeat against Spurs and with only ten men for 30mins on paper aint bad but the way we played is just hopeless. Slow, sloppy, lethargic, lacking passion, clueless, joke defending, how many free headers did they have in our box, how many stray passes? How many shots on goal did we have – 1 !!
How can we be proud of that?

I agree with you 1-2 with 10 men for 1/2 hour is as expected, though we could have and should have pinched a point.

Just a quick question mate, exactly how long have you been watching us?
don’t know what sammy was watching at the start of the game.Diame may well have started on the left side of midfield in a 4-5-1 formation but it’s stretching things a bit to suggest he was playing on the left wing!
I was responding to your comment about Diame being played as a left-winger which by any stretch of the imagination did not happen yesterday.He did play on left wing for 1st 20 mins. I dont have a clue why.
I dont think he is lazy though. As for most overated player ever? No way.Diame may be lazy, but he was our best player on Saturday, very creative and scored a belting goal. I hear a lot of criticism on here about Diame, but I honestly dont see the same game as others if they cant see his value.
