I am aware I anger more than my fair share of posters on this forum as usually the posters with the more shall we say “well reasoned views” cant be arsed with the premature dummy spitting that gets spouted on here constantly.

they also ‘guarantee’ that there will be no gangs of boozy lads onboard, something that niether a train operator or supporters club coach can do.
I beg your pardon, WASC is and has been the only ones that have guaranteed this. We had some lads think they were clever smuggling beer on to the coach to Spurs a couple of years back and for all we know they are still there as they didn’t come back with us. We have a strict ‘No Alcohol’ rule on the coaches and leave people in doubt that if they upset their fellow travellers the police liaison officer (which every committee member/steward has a number for) will be waiting for them.
I wonder if the guys running all these other coaches have such a number to help them out (EVEN WITH GETTING AN ESCORT TO THE GROUND IF NECESSARY)??
It seems the supporters club are listening to what you have said with your post, as they have sent out an email telling people not to book with dodgy folk offering coach travel just to make a quick buck(or words to that effect)
As it is me that sends any correspondence by email or otherwise, I can categorically state that no such email has been sent and demand you retract this comment as it is libellous.
The only thing we have done is delete three or four people’s adverts off the WASC Facebook page, we can only promote Official Travel on there, by allowing these adverts to stay on it would look like we were promoting them as Official Travel Companies which they definitely were not.
I personally know Jamie and though it wasn’t me who was moderating FB that night I am sure he understands this.
Regarding the other questions you have asked, we have about thirty years plus head start on you regarding the safety of Wigan Athletic Supporters Club members and non members on the coaches. Our prices will reflect the excellent service and quality coaches we provide and if we do book for non-members on behalf of Wigan Athletic Football Club, they will all be under no illusions of the etiquette, respect and levels of behaviour we expect.
How dare you try to undermine the organisation that has spoken up for you, provided coaches to every away game Latics has played (even when there has only been 11 people on them) and looked to make the match day experience a more pleasant one, I find your comments wholly disrespectful and mighty arrogant.
I didn’t see all these trips organised for Bournemouth or Crystal Palace??
If you are a member, you will get a good service as a good price. The lack of complaints is testament to our excellent voluntary work for a non profit organisation. This cannot be said for certain other Wigan based coach companies.
As you will see I have removed my original post, it was never my intention to cast aspersion’s or try to undermine the job that the supporters club does for the benefit of WAFC fans, I was reacting to comments made on facebook and another site regarding my intentions.
As far as the accusation I made, I withdraw that fully and apologise without reservation, I was wrongly informed that the email sent to an associate of mine was from the supporters club, I have now been informed that this was not the case.
Well if we get to the final I will be flying down and then a taxi to the ground because I can afford it, no fuckin about with drunken imbeciles for me !

I have been reading this thread with interest.
Everyone is entitled to run coaches to anywhere they choose,good luck to them, but as The Supporters Club rightly says,” where were you when we were playing at the likes of ……..”
I remember about 12 years ago taking an half empty bus to a night match at Northampton.
