Where has the Message Board tab gone Jayt, or is it just my PC? When I click on my favourites link there is a big blank space with the log-on at the bottom. I used to be logged on permanently but I can’t find this option either. Can you help please?
21 December 2009 at 11:12 am #15698mine is fine, what browser are you using?
21 December 2009 at 12:32 pm #15701John has done updates to the site that supposedly elliminated that problem, and we have done tests on everything brought out after but not including IE6.
Give me a bit more information as to what browser your using and I’ll see what can be done.
Is the messageboard header slightly visible under the home page navigation link? I am betting that you could do with a better/more up to date browser.

21 December 2009 at 2:42 pm #15721I have used firefox, ie8 and opera and dont have a prob, so i think your right jayt he must be using an owd browser!
21 December 2009 at 3:15 pm #15732I have exactly the same problem, but only on my laptop, an old Dell.
It’s easy enough to get around, just scroll down and the latest posts are on the right. Follow one and you’re in.
I don’t think the problem is browser related. I think it’s down to your screen size/resolution. I’m using ie7 on my laptop and it doesn’t show the message board link on the laptop screen. When I put the laptop into the docking station at work the link appears. I have a new 19″ monitor on the docking station.
Also, on the laptop screen the headline is way down the bottom too, but again this is fine on the monitor.
We have two other PCs at home, both have widescreen monitors and both work fine.
Mind you, my iPhone works perfectly too.
Hope this helps.
21 December 2009 at 4:30 pm #15750The site is built at 1024×768, the standard now.
We do realise that there are still computers set to lower resolutions than this, but they are becoming less and less al the time and even now are the minority.
My suggestion would be to go to preferences and reset your monitor resolution to the higher 1024×768 or higher, it will benefit in the short term and the long run, not just with this site but with all sites that are being built these days (plus give your eyes some rest)
Looking at the stats, of the last 1/4 million page views over the last couple of weeks, less than 4% have resolutions less than 1024×768 – hope this helps.
