Where was he tonight? Not on bench. Is he injured or is it a bug again?
I know the last two home league games he has started we have won. Fleetwood and Gillingham.
It’s all very strange along with our abysmal home league form.14 February 2018 at 2:52 am #166367He was in the players lounge, behind us.
Were you on the bench toneet ?
14 February 2018 at 2:57 am #166369Probably be as effective as what we had on the bench. Pump balls in the box to a big lad like Blackpool had up top not to the 3ft 4 inch Vaughan.
14 February 2018 at 3:21 am #166381Tippy tappy shite. Let’s be honest.

From Matlock to ManU

I’m not sure either way about colclough, but I definitely reckon the squad will need “major surgery” if we go up. I think we aren’t particularly great, but are playing in a league what around 18 of the teams are garbage. I worry for us in the championship….we are miles away from that level, despite our position. This is going to need some money spending, but who knows what will happen. If we go up, I can see us doing a Bolton.
These last few days are a reality check. A lot have got carried away and think we are better than we are. We’ve slogged through games against got awful sides and let’s be honest, we’ve never actually played flat out and looked like champions, especially at home. We are very predictable in our play, sideways passing, back too much.
14 February 2018 at 4:15 am #166395We’ve looked a better, more balanced team every time Colclough has played. And he hasn’t had a run in the side to get into top form.
Massey can be effective away from home when the opposition push on. But at home I don’t know what he offers. If your a pacey winger at least take on the full-back.
On the other wing Jacobs is long overdue a rest. Been anonymous since Christmas.
14 February 2018 at 8:05 pm #166450But what happened last night? Why not even on the bench. He isn’t a world beaters but he certainly made a difference in the last outing at home. Next at Southend he’s dropped to the bench and then last night not even on the bench.
14 February 2018 at 8:10 pm #166451Could well be something as simple as that with a new baby at home, he’ not getting enough rest and it’s affecting his match fitness.
It’s happened with players before.

And that shows up in fitness stats during training.
These things are micro-analysed now.15 February 2018 at 12:04 am #166460The science in sports science plays a much bigger part than we think.
Half the players who get a knock these days have a scan that can show the weakest of deficiencies but this prolongs time out injured.
Years ago I did some work for Noblot at Euxton and Big Fat Sam had the players body mass index checked weekly and they were fined for a bad reading.15 February 2018 at 12:55 am #166461Many people still don’t realise that those sports bras the players wear are actually holders for the tracking devices that all players wear.

15 February 2018 at 12:57 am #166463Sports science is all well and good. But would they suggest playing the same 11 on a Tuesday after travelling back from Southend?
Sports science should also take a step back versus matchday performances. Massey has played well on occasion, but there’s been little logic to him playing so often, particularly at home.
15 February 2018 at 1:33 am #166464Been asking for a manager for 3 years who plays a settled side. We get one and you still moan.
Noute like wiganers.
