MK Dons are lauding over our player scoring the hattrick that blew Fleetwood away and got them three valuable points.
I know it is always going to make us think ‘why the hell are we loaning players that can score hattricks, when we are struggling for goals’, when one of or loanees play a man of the man performance and blow opposition away.
But would he have been able to do this in our team, or is it a good thing he has been sent on loan there to get that experience of starting every week, plus bagging a few goals in the process.
I don’t think he would have started many games for us and the manager knew that and must have thought we had better in the squad.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
25 September 2016 at 4:59 pm #150954Well as an attacking midfielder he would probably be slotted in the right back position for us.
25 September 2016 at 5:09 pm #150955How can someone THINK that a player would’t be good enough at a higher level?
Colclough and Morsy should have been given a go before we signed anyone, you never know until you try.
I don’t think we’ll be seeing these two at the DW in a Latics shirt again.
Fuck the EFL
25 September 2016 at 5:32 pm #150956Colclough always looked good on the ball, has this natural ability to glide past players. He has great technique and I can’t remember him giving the ball away. Why he’s out on loan beats me but I hope this loan deal means we can get him back.As for Morsey well I find that another odd decision …..out with the youth in with 30+ but experienced crew.I also think we need Perkins back in last year’s role as the midfield pest, definitely missed him recently. What about le Fondre????….is he going to figure at any stage ??…..I for one think apart from byrne and Gilbey the rest have been mediocre signings.Powell was I thought a good one but as of yet shown jack all.Lose next 2 ad I think GC will be relieved of his duties.
25 September 2016 at 5:41 pm #150957If we do stay in the Championship under GC and get Colclough back next season will he feature in the team?
He will still have no experience at this level so we are back to square one.
I bet MK Dons would want to keep him promoted or not!
Fuck the EFL
25 September 2016 at 9:49 pm #150960I agree about sending him out on loan as he wouldn’t have had much game time with us this season.

26 September 2016 at 4:35 pm #150977I thought he was too lightweightFor rugby league?
26 September 2016 at 5:04 pm #150981Lightweight ?? seriously ???…How the hell can people say he won’t be good enough for this league when he hasn’t been tried ???..
26 September 2016 at 5:47 pm #150982George Best was a lightweight.
26 September 2016 at 11:25 pm #151011Lightweight ?? seriously ???…How the hell can people say he won’t be good enough for this league when he hasn’t been tried ???..Got shoved off the ball plenty of times from my memory of him.
27 September 2016 at 3:08 am #151018My thoughts exactly, I think Colclough needs to toughen up a bit more so hopefully a bit more first team football will help him. I’d have been gutted if we’d let him leave permanently as I think he’s got huge potential, he could go on to be a real star for us.
