It can’t get any worse at the moment: 0 points, -10 goal difference, worst start by any team in Premier League history.
There’s still a handful of tough games, but I’m confident we’ll get at least a draw against Sunderland. If worst comes to it and we lose the next 3 games I’m sure there’ll have to be changes to the management, and from that we can start to play football instead of getting worse game-by-game.
One positive is that Spurs only have one fit striker, so there shouldn’t be another 9-1 battering!

Aha! Keep the tactical genius that Roberto is, and get rid of the guy with the money.

Personally, i wish whelan would tell Martinez to “f off” as you so eloquently point out with your ‘text speak’.

And who would buy us? I don’t have any problems with Whelan owning the club, but some of his comments and decisions in the past haven’t sat well with me. On the whole he’s fully committed to the club, taking us from complete anonymity in the lower reaches of the Football League to the top level of English football.
He gets slammed by some of the fans for “not spending” and letting players walk because he’s “greedy” and only wants the money, but think about it: the nature of our club is that, as Lawrenson and many other point out, we’re a shop window, stepping stone team for as long as we continue to focus our attention on players from South America and the like.
I’d much rather see a local man that loves the town and the club in charge, keeping us financially secure (if we have any debts, they’re not from the transfer of players – which is one of the things that crippled teams like Leeds, Newcastle, Portsmouth and Hull) than some Asian tycoon and his consortium of men with deep pockets and dirty secrets, with no real understanding or interest in football despite all their protests.
