Coming to a game near you soon.
CALM.
can I do a plug please? At a home game in the near future I am doing a sponsored silence. From entry to the ground to leaving the ground. It’s in aid of CALM:
The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.
I am happy to collect (non refundable) money pre- match!!!!
I will have adjudicators around me, if I make an inappropriate or untoward noise – I’ll add to the pot. The rules, regulations and conditions are yet to be drawn up, so if you have any suggestions ….. let me know.
Added to that if anyone wants to sponsor me …. I’ll let you know where I am but I’ll be unable to say thank you!!
Anyone who sits near me or works with me knows that this will be a true test with one of my fellow ES7ers having diagnosed ‘St Vitus tik’!!!!
And BTW I am as able to express my frustrations as I am my jubilations!! Ask my mates.

I must get rules and regulations organised. I think it’ll be the Swansea game (I need to check my rota). I’ll have a practice run at the Nottingham Forest game, and give out a bit of publicity.
As I have said ….. any one who has been any where near me knows that this will be a challenge for me whether the game involves agony or ecstacy!!
For various reasons this is a cause I am close to, and I know that suicide has come close to more people than we are aware of – either through friend, family, experience – I’ve been on 3 affected trains or self.
