Ok im watching the match with the worst commentary team in the history of the game bar Motson and i just heard a quote and got me thinking about quotes and clichés that pee me off from commentators and players alike. Everyone hates particular ones and especially from particular players,
the commentary one i heard tonight was “When he hits the ball, It stays hit” UH?
The classic “At the end of the day”
Rooney is partial to a million of “Ya Know”
Roy Keane “Listen”
Unfortunately our Roberto has one that does me too. “Getting the dynamics of the game right” What does that mean?
I would have loved Sid Waddell to have commentated for one match.
Have to agree about the commentary townsend is bloody awful,cracking game though ;)
