It is reported that Martinez as resigned,so why the need for compensation if he as resigned
It should work both ways If you sign a contract it is binding on both parties If Wigan had sacked Martinez before his contract was up they would have to pay compensation. Likewise if Martinez in effect sacks Wigan then Wigan should get the same compensation deal be it from Martinez or from the club he goes to.
Do these managers think the fans or THICK.. Resign from one job then three days later join another club… :(He hasn’t resigned, he has asked to be be released from his contract which, as it has a year left, is still worth about £2 million. All semantics which is another big wordconcept that Wiganmon should probably steer well clear of
