Not sen the game or any players rating, interesting to hear from those that have which players should be starting Saturday, bosselli the obvious one from the scoresheet.
The fact that Boselli got a brace is encouraging, especially with what has happened thus far since he first signed for us ! I would like to see him getting some more pitch time in the league just to see if he really is up to it at that level !
Boselli was excellent. McArthur never stopped. Ramis and Caldwell looked solid. Stam was impressive. Miyachi looked dangerous. I could go on and on. Was an all round good performance.
I remember Jason Scotland getting off the mark when we drew away at Notts County in the cup a few years ago. We was thinking yes he’s off and running, but was dropped for next league game and the rest is history.
I say give Bosseli a start at Sunderland and see if he can keep the momentum going. I’ve not seen finishing of that calibre for a long time from a Wigan player. goodpost
