Anyone sit close enough to the dugout to hear the diatribe Mr Cook comes out with during the course of a game.
If he could put as much energy into analysing how the game is progressing rather than ranting and raving with the fourth official and his opponents counterpart we might end up snatching a win or two against teams who come and shut up shop.We were poor last night,
It all looks rather childish from my seat and yet another frustrating result.30 December 2017 at 10:15 pm #164647Cook out
30 December 2017 at 10:19 pm #164649We do have some knobheads watching us. Top of the league. Highest scorers. Meanest defence. Goal difference worth an extra poi t but they still go out of their way to find something to criticise.
30 December 2017 at 11:35 pm #164651Would you prefer he just stood there accepting injustices, or didn’t care enough about the team to kick every ball, to feel every foul, to argue every point?
Ferguson, Mourinho, Wenger, all pressure officials. And sometimes it works if you can sow seeds of doubt in their minds.
Keep at it Paul, you’re doing a lot right.31 December 2017 at 2:06 am #164652Anyone sit close enough to the dugout to hear the diatribe Mr Cook comes out with during the course of a game.

Saved me the trouble! Exactly what I was going to say. Much sooner have a “kicks water bottles” manager than an emotionless statue.
Paul is a typical scouser. Says what he thinks, fights for injustice, and isnt a happy loser. All fine attributes, in my book.

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
31 December 2017 at 5:04 pm #164676I’m also close enough to listen what’s said by both dug outs. Cookie is quite funny and wears his heart on his sleeve. The word childish would be the last word I thought of if asked to describe PC’s antics in the technical area. I remember asking our old friend Phil Dowd about the authority and purpose of the 4th official. He laughed and said we just stand there getting a load of abuse from both managers, it goes in one ear and out the other and we get well paid for tolerating it for 90 mins.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!31 December 2017 at 5:47 pm #164679I think he should curb his shouting because it’s clearly fucking his vocal cords up. Sounds like an 80 cigs a day bloke!
