Just read Cooks comments on how valuable Pilks is and needs protecting. Subbing him yesterday again on 75th minute another sub decided at kick off. Pilks didn’t look to chuffed about it. More worryingly his comments about saving him for home games seems bizarre. Should be first name on team sheet if Pilks himself says he’s ok to play. Got to start at Reading for me.
25 February 2020 at 11:02 pm #185305Mom Saturday and unless cook is throwing a bluff he wont start tomorrow.
Hope he doesn’t play 3 centre backs now Dunkley is available as it’s a good chance to get another 3 points away from home going into the weekend which would be massive.26 February 2020 at 12:44 am #185309Cook as said allready a couple of Saturdays side took knocks and may miss out.
Sounds like Massey and Evans will be back that in Cook talk and Pilkington and Jacobs will miss out.
Anything’s possible.
Hopefully O.G will keep his form going.27 February 2020 at 2:28 am #185368Didn’t really need O.G. tonight – 3 quality goals!
27 February 2020 at 10:22 am #185371I heard Cookie was resting O.G for Saturday.
27 February 2020 at 3:18 pm #185378O.G. is always ready to pounce, always fit and plays a full 90 minutes. Should be first name on every fantasy team.
When I used play I was a reliable O.G. every week but my teammates never appreciated it!

I was always “left back” in my playing days – in the changing rooms.

29 February 2020 at 1:45 am #185424Best own goal goal ever was a game I played in. We were playing at Heinz late 70s. It was a mud bath as it was normally back then and there was more grass on a ping pong ball than on that pitch they used. Our keeper caught the ball and leathered it with some force. Our centre half unfortunately was standing smack bang in front of him a few feet away. It hit him squarely on the back of the head and rocketed into our goal. Our centre half went down pivoted like you get on a table football game. He stood up covered from head to to toe in mud the only white bit left were his teeth. We were all in tears but he didn’t see the funny side of it.
