I don’t think he will go before the next game but if we lose that one he will be on his bike.
If he goes now/tomorrow then that means only one game under a caretaker manager with the international break. That could give the owners three weeks to find someone else (if they aren’t already sorting that)[/quote]
They have, Unsworth. Well there’s been rumours of that since last season and the Everton connection.
Bloody Everton connection FFS. Doesn’t seem that long since we beat them playing at the same level.25 August 2019 at 7:08 pm #180688Yesterday was a bad result no doubt about it, but before shouting Cook Out, just remember it’s not how you start a season, it’s how you finish (2018-19!)
We lost at QPR on the equivalent Saturday last season but did ok in the end!
This season opened with an excellent win over Cardiff. Then we’ve had Preston who will be knocking on the door of the top 6 come the end and Leeds/Middlesbrough who will be knocking on the door of the top 2 come the end.
See where we are at the end of October before we start thinking about changing manager!

We don’t want to emulate last season, we have a squad good enough to push for the play offs. Its time for him to go, he has no answer to our ridiculous away problems so let somebody have a go who has.
Thanks for the league one memories but that’s where it ends. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!25 August 2019 at 9:06 pm #180692A lot of people here who couldn’t manage a Whelk stall. Wait till October. It is not how you start the season it is how you start it.
Goodness I would not like to be working for them when real decisions are needed. We ended last season in a very lucky position. But we have started like last season. Cook HAS lost the dressing room. No doubts Roberts will be up front on Saturday and he will continue with Marshall and Kipre.
The Cook era is over. Bring in Moyes. We have mostly Everton players here!

More by good luck and the skill of Reece James than tactical wizadry by Cook.
We could easily have gone down.26 August 2019 at 12:00 am #180698Bring in Moyes. We have mostly Everton players here!Don’t do that. It didn’t work very well at Sunderland when he signed Gibson, Oviedo & Lescott and then plundered Man Utd for McNair, Love & Janujai.
