Not wanting to judge anyone after watching them twice but I can confidently say that he is terrible.
That McCann ain’t much better
26 August 2013 at 12:24 am #119848I agree, but Coyle will play them, to justify bringing them to the club. :( Not counting Barnsley, who look certain for relegation, we have been out played by two teams who only came up from Division one and another mediocre team. Doesn’t bear to well for our forthcoming matches :(
26 August 2013 at 12:39 am #119850Wasn’t McCann Coyles Captain at Burnley?
He’s probably his ears and eyes in the dressing room.
That’s were he should stay cos he’s invisible on the pitch.
Another Damian Francis !!!
26 August 2013 at 12:57 am #119853HE IS RUBBISH :(
26 August 2013 at 6:27 am #119865Crainey is past it at such a young age ! He got turned inside out today especially for their 2nd ! Blackpool are best rid in my opinion but who can we play in his place ?
26 August 2013 at 1:29 pm #119873shift perch into midfield and either use rogne in CD or sign two new defenders
is garcia a right or left back if left use him instead of crainey26 August 2013 at 2:55 pm #119878He’s had a rough start for sure. If Garcia is match fit he should get a chance.
If he’s no good then we are stuck with Crainey and that is worrying.
26 August 2013 at 3:21 pm #119880Crainey is past it at such a young age ! He got turned inside out today especially for their 2nd ! Blackpool are best rid in my opinion but who can we play in his place ?Don’t let your prejudice get in the way of facts, Boyce and Barnett were the ones who got “turned inside out” for boroughs second goal, although Crainey along with The actual worst defender on the field Perch were slow to react and get back to cover.
Although Perch was the worst defender a special mention must go to Boyce and MacArthur who were truly shocking as well and the reason foray of boroughs chances including the first goal.
26 August 2013 at 3:46 pm #119881Agree some people are blaming one person but some of our players need to take a look at themselves but i just think its the players getting used to a new system and manager it will get better
26 August 2013 at 4:28 pm #119882What do you think the new system is?
26 August 2013 at 8:21 pm #119895With the heavy fixture list I honestly thought that the likes Crainey and McCann were brought in as cover not first on the team sheet.
Crainey isn’t good enough , period, McCann is clearly out his depth and McClean as a wideman ?? his skill factor is “0”, works hard but gets no were fast.
It doesn’t seem fair when the likes of McArthur are pushed out of position and then pay the price. I would have preferred to have seen Boyce in the middle of defense along side Barnett and Perch on the right.
I’ve said before , there’s not much wrong with the squad as a whole, it’s the manager who is getting it harse over titt wrong.
at least when Espinoza came on he tried to take folk on and inject some pace into the game.I’ve never seen a more disjointed bunch of players in all my years. I’m sorry but unless Coyle strings together better performances than of late and strings together a few wins Mr Whelan won’t stand for it and the big P45 door with Christmas deccey’s on it beckons for Coyle.
26 August 2013 at 10:57 pm #119900Now we no why big dave gave him a 1 year rolling contract
27 August 2013 at 1:36 pm #119920I have mentioned on another thread that the defense as a whole is disjointed and as soon as the two centre halves are separated the better ! Thought I would never say this but Caldwell could actually be a possible solution !
29 August 2013 at 4:40 pm #120082He managed to successfully tackle his man the other day and celebrated with friends
Here30 August 2013 at 1:11 am #120114It will get better, I don’t think Perch is big enough to be a cb though. Caldwell and Ramis would be good at the back but when will they be back. I thought McLean did more in the first two minutes than Beausejour did in one and a half matches.
