i dont make things up, Figueroa has played over 50 games for hondurous at centre back and that is HIS designated role in the team -ON THE LEFT SIDE – the same a alcaraz plays on the left of our centre pairing and caldwell plays on the right, do you comprehend ?
Some are claiming figueroa’s problems because he played in a position alien to him when this is in fact untrue.why anyone need to bring up academic qualifications to justify their arguments on a football message board baffles me, unless it comes with an offer of some help, if anyone needs any structural calculations for help with loadings on a window lintel or roof truss or hydraulic flow rates for pipe design i’m your man, but i would not state my qualifications for enabling me to carry out such a task, but if yourself or the person earlier said to me i can translate a document for you, they would earn my upmost respect, i dont need to be told “i hold a first in that subject” i would just assume that would be close to the mark anyway.
i have not only been schooled at the university of life some of it is formal as well but the former certainly gave me a little perspective in life.
your last point , no i am not and never have been a council worker, not that there is anything wrong with that, but if you used you 2:1 and read what i wrote you would see i said “i dont know about council owned”

figueroa rings a bellHe should have realised at Everton that Figgy is never a centre back. We looked better after the break when he went to left back. I would like to see Dave Jones get a run in the side at least he will bring a goal threat from midfield. On the plus side Van Ahnolt looks to be a good player.That could be a problem. Sinclair was a decent prospect but he didn’t get a sniff, I think Van Ahnolt will play a key role though as Chelsea have probably said that if we don’t play him they will take him back after the Sinclair malarkey. I just can’t comprehend why Martinez has not signed players in defence, The main position that has been screaming for reinforcements, How can he believe that Caldwell is any good. Im glad he has Van Ahnolt for left back and congratulate him on giving the football imposter Figeuroa some competition. Caldwell and Gohouri are just nowhere near either quick enough or positionally and tactically aware of what’s going on around them. Hence their poor disciplinary record, The only thing they are left with is to foul a player. The transfer policy at this club is laughable and the time it takes to get in a decent player is ridiculous. Players like Woodgate all came and went in the transfer window and not a hint of being linked. Players on free transfers that command a tiny higher wage are worth taking the chance on. The fee that would have been paid to a club would even out the wages. I really does my head in that the club think people will keep paying good money to go and watch a team made up of very sub standard players who win about 3 games at home all season. They want to keep moaning that the fans are dropping, They need to take a good look at how the club is being ran. There is no hint of ambition and most fans i know are now fed up with just avoiding relegation on purpose to ensure they survive without spending anything, Scraping through the season and pocketing the tv money every year. If they treated the fans with a bit more respect the club would be in a better position. Sorry Mr. Whelan but you wanted the fan base to grow on the 5,000 hardcore of years gone by. Well they have, The 5,000 will stick by you but times and football have changed and the remaining 10,000 won’t sit around and watch this pathetic team attempting to play football.
