i dont want this to smack of positivity, that would not suit my persona, but i am ever so relieved we have signed a left winger type player.

There are a few places on earth that i think he may be better suited. None in the vacinity of Wigan :o

continuing with the positive note
perhaps if he shows more of the improvement he did at the weekend a cetral midfield role feeding crusats runs and a n other on the opposite side.
ps is there any truth in the rumour that martinez has targeted another winger similar to crusat – daniel devito
31 August 2011 at 1:46 am #70845im only 5’5 and im a good un!
messi is 5’7 and he’s best in the world, and i also remember ronnie hildersley doin a job for us and he was only 2’8,

i am fully aware of that – that is why i described him as “a left winger type player” i was pointing out i am relieved that the role is still going to be filled/used as we look very narrow at times so far this season

Okay – point taken. To me that signals that Rodallega is definitely on his way out. I may be reading too much into it, but he can go at the end of the season for nothing, and Di Santo seems the current choice in the centre. After all the praise heaped on Moses recently, I can’t see him being dropped.

do you feel that the general consensus is that Rodallega will be the subject of an 11th hour move out? I must admit that I’d be miffed if that were the case…………
………also rumour control (on here I have to admit) suggested that Connor Sammon was a little ‘unsettled’ as he is not getting the playing time he thought he might, however, I’d prefer Rodallega with Connor acting as an ‘impact sub’.
You make a good point about him being able to leave for nowt at the end of season – so some nifty work needs to be done on this.
31 August 2011 at 3:47 pm #70877I think as far as our players go Rodallega is a happy chappy….
Hopefully he will sign a new contract!
I think he showed at QPR he can do just as well on the left for us as anywhere else and with Di Santo finding his scoring feet long may it continue!!!

31 August 2011 at 4:49 pm #70886joint shortest player ever to play in the PL5’5″ – 165cm – Aaron Lennon (Tottenham)
5’5½” – 166cm – Shaun Wright-Phillips (Manchester City)If he’s half as good as either if them that’ll do me.
31 August 2011 at 10:06 pm #70908I believe he does a jimmy kranky tribute act and is on at the goose green labour club on saturday night
