i dont want this to smack of positivity, that would not suit my persona, but i am ever so relieved we have signed a left winger type player.
He will be played on the right…..Wigan don’t do ‘wingers’.[/quote]
i am fully aware of that – that is why i described him as “a left winger type player” i was pointing out i am relieved that the role is still going to be filled/used as we look very narrow at times so far this season

Okay – point taken.
To me that signals that Rodallega is definitely on his way out. I may be reading too much into it, but he can go at the end of the season for nothing, and Di Santo seems the current choice in the centre. After all the praise heaped on Moses recently, I can’t see him being dropped.

Mr Walker….
do you feel that the general consensus is that Rodallega will be the subject of an 11th hour move out? I must admit that I’d be miffed if that were the case…………
………also rumour control (on here I have to admit) suggested that Connor Sammon was a little ‘unsettled’ as he is not getting the playing time he thought he might, however, I’d prefer Rodallega with Connor acting as an ‘impact sub’.
You make a good point about him being able to leave for nowt at the end of season – so some nifty work needs to be done on this.
