Millwall v Blackburn 14.00 sun
Man United v Chelsea 16.30 sun
like to get the 16.30 sat16 February 2014 at 8:55 pm #127436Perhaps City will be forced to play their reserves.
16 February 2014 at 10:45 pm #127440Gutted. :(
It’s a shite draw which I find hard to put a positive spin on !!
No change there then some might say !! ;)
16 February 2014 at 11:10 pm #127441Well at least it’s not as far back from City as Arsenal after a hammering
The only other vague positive should by a miracle we get through, a Championship or Lge 1 side is guaranteed a semi final place.
16 February 2014 at 11:21 pm #127444It’s a shite draw which I find hard to put a positive spin on !!Try this.
If we’d drawn either of the Sheffield teams, or Dull or Blunderland (oops, sorry, Griff – been here too long!) then we would have had the same attitude Everton had for us last season.
As it is we are going to need to fight with every ounce we have. The fact that Uwe is a City cult figure means that perversely he is going to be out to prove a point. I think it could give us a good lift.
Difficult, yes. Impossible, no.
16 February 2014 at 11:43 pm #127447Arrangements for Chelsea fans at Manchester City in the last round;
Upper Tier Adults – £27.50
Seniors (Over 65) – £17.50 Aged 16-21 – £17.50 Juniors (Under-16) £5Lower Tier Adults – £25.00
Seniors (Over-65) – £15 Aged 16-21 – £15 Juniors (Under-16) £5Chelsea received an allocation of 6149 tickets.
They also subsidised train and coach travel tickets costing £10.
17 February 2014 at 12:12 am #127450Well let’s hope they keep them prices for us. Reckon we will take a large following ourselves?
Worst possible draw, gutted when only two left in the pot and city were one of them! That said, think we will give them a game, it won’t be 5 nil again..
I’ll settle for wembley in May for the play off final :)
17 February 2014 at 12:37 am #127453at least city will have an excuse ,they where nocked out by the cup holders ;)And for us if we lose, come May, that we were knocked out by the (delete as appropriate) title/league cup/FA cup/champs lge winners.

Manchester City, the multi-millions backed football team, recent EPL Champions (11/12), FA Cup-Finalist, top ECL team, and Champions-elect (13/14) up against CURRENT FA CUP HOLDERS, WIGAN ATHLETIC (winners versus Man City) …… sounds good !!
Play as we did at the Etihad, and Wembley last season (possession football) and we’ll give them a game. Uwe (won’t want to look a fool) and the lads (if they’ve got any sense!) will be up for this one.
Wigan Athletic in the news ….
Difficult, yes. Impossible, no.[/quote]
U.R. (OOH….AAH…)
PS. Reading – lousy result yesterday. Barnsley must-win tomorrow.
17 February 2014 at 1:45 pm #127459Well let’s hope they keep them prices for us. Reckon we will take a large following ourselves?Of course we won’t. This City board comment explains:
“I hope the game is the Saturday. Hope it is a full house although highly unlikely as Wigan will bring about 300.”
If I remember rightly Everton were uberconfident last season at this stage too.

We’ll take about 1500 I would think and get hammered.
17 February 2014 at 3:58 pm #127463We’ll take about 1500 I would think and get hammered.Oh I don’t know. Don’t think I’ll be drinking that much myself. Not at those prices.
17 February 2014 at 4:37 pm #127464We’ll take about 1500 I would think and get hammered. An FA Cup quarter final 20 Odd miles from Wigan – I’ll be gutted if we don’t take at least 4,000.
In fact anybody thinking of not going will need to send a detailed explanation or a note from their mum to our away support statistician , Mutty.
17 February 2014 at 6:08 pm #127467City have a tough programme in February and March. They will have to rotate their admittedly enormous squad. Still, games and injuries could take their toll.
Tue 18 Feb Man City v Barcelona
Sat 22 Feb Man City v Stoke
Sun 2 Mar League Cup Final Man City v Sunderland
Weekend 7/8/9 Mar FA Cup Man City v WiganWed 12 Mar Barcelona v Man City
Sat 15 Mar Hull v Man City
Sat 22 Mar Man City v Fulham
Tue 25 Mar Man Utd v Man City
Sat 29 Mar Arsenal v Man CityMan City v Aston Villa to be arranged
However, in the same period we have a tough programme too, with one more game to play than City! We also have to rearrange a match, the home game against Leicester.
