I don’t post on hear as much as I used to but I have been reading many things on this board and it looks like the darkside (as they were called) are not as vocal as they used to be.
The way I see it is that we are playing some really good stuff…absolutely excellent at times but we still have two major problems that are preventing us from getting the points we deserve from the games we play. (1) nobody can seem to hit the ball into the back of the net…we seem to have more luck hitting the post (Would be interesting to see which premiership side has hit the post/bar the most this season…I bet it is us!!) and (2) Defenders not being able to understand their positioning and to get rid of the ball when in danger.
I have to say, like him or not, we don’t seem the same at the back without Caldwell. I do like this 5 at the back when we haven’t got the ball, it seems more balanced…but it only works when both Caldwell and Alcaraz is on the pitch. I do agree with most on hear we need another central defender…maybe a veteran (Hencoz/DeZeew type) then puch Figgs out where Jones is….but that’s my opinion!
I would like to see Bobby try and get a good central defender….

Good post Jimmy, a good centre half and a striker who had an idea where the net was and happy days.
