I always had confidence with Dan Burn in our defence. Player of the year, fast, great header and passer. We knew he was bound to a Premier Club.
He went to Brighton in January after a six month loan. Sadly he has failed to break into the first team. He featured in cup games but not in the Premier League. Always a sub but never used.Perhaps the management team at WAFC should consider either a bid to see if they would sell or a season loan. We know he can do the job. As could
Yanic Wildschut Who was magnificent on left wing for us but failed to click at Norwich and is now on a free from Bolton Wanderers.Just a thought.
I agree in one way but on the other hand from memory we went down from the championship with both those in the team for the full season.
Dan Burn was awful in the run up to him leaving. He is not Championship material let alone Prem standards.
As for Yanik, yet another example of a player thinking he was too good for Wigan Athletic. Hope he ends up at Rochdale or Accrington, I certainly don’t want him back.From Matlock to ManU
