26 January 2011 at 4:50 am #56899I echo Landgates sentiment whilst resiting the temptation to outwardly ‘wax lyrical’ about your comments Mr Walker – I fear Vat may use his ‘gaydar’ to stalk me down………
However, never having been a True Grit fan of the ‘cowwie’ I would rather think of our stand more on the lines of ‘Thermopylae’.
;)
Micky, I am impressed with your Greek reference, and equally impressed with your resistance to Greek ‘love’.
To quote Zammo: ‘Just say no’

You’ve got good eyesight!
26 January 2011 at 7:07 pm #57000To be fair the guy with the banner was wearing a pair of Ugg boots so really his opinion on anything, ever, should be instantly discounted.
Ugg more than likely being his standard response to most questions.[/quote]
He couldn’t even unfurl his MARTINEZ OUT banner properly – it read MINT when I looked up

26 January 2011 at 7:44 pm #57005This season as seen the emergence of Callum Macmanaman and Routledge Plus a English youth international In the goalkeeper young Nicholls I thinkHow has this season seen the emergence of those 3??? One has played one full game & 2 sub appearances. Another isn’t even playing for us & a 3rd aint had a sniff of 1st team action for us
The words clutching & straws comes to min
PS – didn’t the reserves get mullered 6-1 the other week (sure I saw it on SKY). Yes I agree that Bobby really is laying the foundations for our future success!!!

27 January 2011 at 12:50 am #57051There is a lot of talk of this young unfinished article of a manager and that is all fair comment but what a gamble by DW to employ such a young and inexperienced manager a couple of years before he sells up ! I dont understand the financial side of football but I am pretty sure that the club would be worth more in the Prem than in the Championship !
