If you have so much knowledge and so much displeasure at the team and Martinez…where are your protests? Don’t recall loads of you outside the training protesting like the Blackburn fans….where are your banners at games? Where are your “Martinez Out” or “Sacked in the Morning” chants..and about Whelan…where are your bidding consortiums with rich middle/far-eastern benefactors? What have you done to increase revenues at the club besides buying match tickets?
…you are just keyboard warriors. If your serious about what you are saying, do something about it..
We are not Man U…we have no money (but we don’t have a debt either), we can’t invest, we can’t attract players…fook me, we can’t even attract fans from our home town.
My view is maybe we do need to go down, regroup, get rid of the deadwood and start again…how long can we keep patching things up in the Prem year on Year?? It’s not Martinez’s fault or Whelan’s fault, it’s just other clubs being more rich/stupid than ours… Not being defeatist but realistic.
A professional footballer should know how to play football no matter what the tactics are…their ability to produce the goods depends on the skill of the player…which some of our players are being found not to have this season.
I`m of the opinion that some of the superfans on here who don`t even go to games but can`t wait to log on straight after actually want us to lose so they can vent their spleen.
And after all the talk in the past of “we need all the fans we can get” i`m afraid that some of the internet live feed watching fans we don`t need. They`ve enjoyed the good times but will they be around for the bad times ? I seriously doubt it
How do explain the likes of Norwich and Swansea then who have come up with Championship players then?
Could it just be they are being managed better. Could that ever be a possibility for a Lightsider?
norwich and swansea are on a high. i would be very surprised if at least one of them doesnt get relegated at the end of it all

Think to table shows we’re not Man U. No one will invest in a side thats just happy to go through the motions. We have no money coz people dont want to go a watch crap week in week out with a manager that cant see it. You seem to forget that sides we’ve had in the past, in the prem, with players on a lot less were a better side that the present day footballers (term used lightly).
i do agree with your protest statement though. But in defence we are always being told by the lightsiders to get behind the team, no negativity so to speak. Maybe thats your answer.On another note the lock on my shed has rusted shut over the winter and i cant get it open to get my fishing tackle out.

What is the point in protesting and hurling abuse? I want Martinez to leave but there’s other ways to go about it without having some sort of public slanging match. For what it’s worth my enthusiasm has been sucked out of me when it comes to us at the moment. I have my season ticket, go to the odd away game when I can afford to and do my best to get behind the team but like I said the enjoyment (which I accept is certainly not a given) and the belief we can get out of this has simply vanished for me. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one for that.

Totally agree,i have said before i want him to do well for us and have defened him along the way but yesterday was a game we should have got something from, instead we looked yet again like a pub team.Fancy passing football and possesion dont get you points all the time you have to adapt your game to the opponent.Q.P.R where there for the taking yesterday and yet again he made changes for what ever reasonso you would rather hit the revenue of the club than have a protest?I bet you didnt want Doris at the club, did you protest then, doubt it,

When pye was chairman i made a banner saying PYES MURDERING WIGAN ATHLETIC it was hung over the front of the phoenix stand just long enough for it to make the front page of the post and chronicle,i think it was horrocks that saw what was happening and stormed to the front of the stand a ripped it down.I think because of what DW has done for the club the fans wont voice there opinions at the ground
