What a journey!What is that Grumps? He hasn’t played enough games for any club to have got anything out of him never mind the best.
Maybe this is a start if he can get anywhere near the starting line up.He did a decent job today although at times Morsy and him were chasing the same balls. No negatives today, great start from the boys. How quick is that Robinson??

Gibson showed that bit of class today. Always looked like he had space and the majority of attacking threaded balls were hit first time and on the button.
I’m Just made up we now have pace down both flanks and players who can actally cross a ball with James and Robinson. We just need Grigg to start getting on the end of them and we will do well in sure.
All’s I can say is, it were a proper entertaining game, belting great smashing
Gibson was MoM for me today. His 1st touch passes were excellent. Always made himself available for the ball.
Robinson gave him a run for MoM. If he carries on like that he will be the best left back we have had since Baines. Not only can he cross a ball he can do it with both feet.
Gibson played really well today him and Morsy will strike up a good partnership the more games the play together.
One thing I noticed today that was different from the Rangers game is he didn’t do as many stray passes which you’d expect the more he plays. Personally would give Massey MoM but everyone played their part.
Very optimistic that primary objective of holding in there will be achieved.
Considering the new lads haven’t even had training time, but Cook has got the message across bodes well.

Keep picking points up I’m optimistic we can achieve a top half this season.I agree,thoght Gibson was class also Powell …never seen him cover so much ground.Everyone played their part in a great opening day win.A mention for Wednesdays Barry Bannan,I thought he was excellent today particularly 2nd half.He had a 15 min spell where he virtually owned the midfield.Talking to some Wednesday fans after game …very concerned about the future of club under present owner.Isn’t it strange how owners upset fan without thinking.They have not signed a player possible transfer embargo but more pissed by the fact the chairman has had his office decorated in RED.!!!
