Just heard an interview with him on radio 5 & he aint a happy chappy. called a meeting with Bobby to have him explain his team selection as he can’t understand why certain players were left on the bench today
I’ll stick my neck out, and say that Bobby will be gone within days.
Whelan has maintained an unusual silence throughout an awful campaign by anyone’s standards, for him to call a meeting speaks volumes, for him to make that public spells curtains, only question is, why leave it until now?
One thing is for sure, he won’t give a shite about going back on his word, we’ve seen that all to often!

The next few days could be interesting with Jones in charge possibly
At the final whistle I looked to the director’s box and saw Whelan mouth the words “that was poor” with his face like thunder. He then shook hands with the Swansea chairman, or whoever, and disappeared up the steps.
I think Bobby has a lot of explaining to do.
I get the feeling that some of the players are no longer playing for their manager ! DI Santo for instance was not happy at all today and his body language was there for all to see !!
Griff, I’m sure you’ll agree that Dave Whelan will not let sentiment get in the way of making a decision, and also that anything he’s said in the past can be explained away as the right thing to say at the time etc etc.
My guess is that Whelan will ask for bobbys resignation, and he’ll get it.
Him saying that bobbys future is secure is probably right, but he didn’t say it’s secure at Wigan did he? He’s gone, and to be fair, whoever took over coulcn’t do much worse could they?

Hope your wrong thirty,If Bobby falls on his sword Jones and Barrow should be out the door first.Ive always thought that if he had better staff behind him he may not be in this position now.He needed experienced coaches which is where he made his first big mistake.I dont think Mr Whelan will axe him and I dont see the point now.Onward we go in which direction who knows.

I KNOW Whelan won’t let sentiment get in the way. Still not sure that means he’ll sack/ask him to resign though. Just very interesting that, after a season of silence, he chooses to speak now in the way he has. We’ll see!

I think whelan must have caught the swansea chairman picking his pocket and stealing another 3 million like he did 3 years ago.

Your right mate it does generally happen I just hope it doesnt now.I would rather Bobby stay than be lumbered with Jones, like I said I dont think Mr Whelan will wield the axa.
