There is nothing as certain in life as death and taxes
Except we’d have beaten Man City today!
18 May 2019 at 11:33 pm #178869With a Watson goal
18 May 2019 at 11:39 pm #178870Q. Why have Manchester City won the domestic treble.
A. Because they haven’t played Wigan Athletic this season.
18 May 2019 at 11:50 pm #178872Can any other team have this banter?
Up the Citystuffing Tics!
18 May 2019 at 11:58 pm #178874Have to say it though, today City were fanfookintastic. They are taking it to a whole new level.
.19 May 2019 at 12:01 am #178877Sorry Ste, but I would have more admiration if money wasn’t part of the recipe !
19 May 2019 at 12:23 am #178881Is this one of our many reasons for loving Latics? No money no fans no worries, we’ll ave a go at em all.
To be sensibl this City team is on another level, but it won’t last.
And we’d still beat em!
19 May 2019 at 12:27 am #178882Sorry Ste, but I would have more admiration if money wasn’t part of the recipe !The money has certainly played its part Ali but with City they have the best coach in the game and that’s why they are on a different planet. His philosophy is amazing.
21 May 2019 at 11:01 am #178916A ruthless coach too or the ultimate pro. He was having a right go at Sterling after the final whistle.
I wonder how he would have been if he had come to play for us when he was linked. Could he have become manager and what could he have done with an invisible warchest rather than with Billions? How good would he actually be without the money?21 May 2019 at 11:07 am #178917A ruthless coach too or the ultimate pro. He was having a right go at Sterling after the final whistle.
I wonder how he would have been if he had come to play for us when he was linked. Could he have become manager and what could he have done with an invisible warchest rather than with Billions? How good would he actually be without the money? That same question was asked towards the end of the final. At the end of the day, money or no money, the guy still has to manage 11 players on the pitch & get them to gel as a team. And I can imagine there are massive egos there too, & that’s just those sat on the bench.
21 May 2019 at 11:16 am #178918Sorry Ste, but I would have more admiration if money wasn’t part of the recipe !Money was a major ingredient in Paul Jewell’s success
21 May 2019 at 11:42 am #178920U r right egg, and funnily enough when we don’t spend any money folk moan! Money is nearly always behind success in football, we were relatively rich coming up through the divisions and when we won the league one titles in the last few years we had one of the biggest budgets.
