Is it me, or after a showing good signs of starting to gel, the defence seems to have startled to wobble a bit?

Firstly, following 2 good clean sheets, S. Caldwell’s replacement of Gohouri has coincided with some avoidable goals.
Communication seems to have broken down bit, evidenced by Caldwell’s and alcaraz’s tiff on Saturday and them both going for the same man just before the equaliser…having been left in the doghouse by a flat footed Stam. Also it didn’t seem like kirky was marshalling as well as Ali AH has recently.
Alacaraz didn’t help things himself tho, with a plethora of dodgy passes/clearances on top of the one that took out McCarthy…tho (silver lining and all that) the change in shape as result of Diame coming on seemed to help.

Not wanting to tempt fate, but if we can iron out those niggles at the back we should be in good shape for Tuesday, and confident about getting a pleasing 6 or magnificent 8 points from 12 come Sat’day teatime (touch wood).
