What a journey!I couldn’t give a damn about any defeat its the manor of the gutless mistake ridden displays week in, week out under this idiot in charge.
If you want to look at some of the second half stats – I suggest turn onto Sky Sports 2 you watch the rest of football first, there is a vast difference between spurs on target attempts and the powder puff taps to brad friedel by our lot.
We lost 3-1. Throw all the stats in the world at me, I only really care about the end result. We’ve spent years talking about not caring a jot about attendances and various other stats yet suddenly people jump to the defence of the club with, you guessed it, ‘stats’. I’ll keep turning up but I’m sick of ‘gallant’ effort from 2-0 down or whatever unassailable lead we find ourselves in.

Or maybe the Lightsiders won’t have to make excuses if there wasn’t a board awash with mass hysteria from the second the first Spurs goal went in.
But yes, while you mention it, I didn’t expect a win against Spurs tonight due to:
a. ‘big spending top of the league team’
b. ‘starvation of funds’
c. ‘little club punching above its weight’On 15 other times this season a Premier League team has lost there, so if you thought this would be the game to spark a revival, and that the three points picked out above are of no bearing on tonight’s performance (or that at both Manchester clubs when a similar outpouring of emotions occurred) then I’d say you’re sadly mistaken.
And, that being the case (ie. you expected us to lose tonight), what is the point of coming on and goading the lightsiders other than to take a perverse pleasure in the club’s predicament and perhaps score a few personal snippets for your ‘Wigan Ath – the good times and Martinez era’ scrapbook? (There’s your insult)

To answer in a truthfull way about seeing worse than what we do now – no i havent in all the years i have watched this period under martinez is by far the worst ever – in the worst ever days under kenyon the team was crap but it had more spirit and fight than any i have seen playing for martinez.

As for it being worse than Kenyons era don`t be so silly. We almost had no club you clown. We have been relegated once in our footballl league history. Not bad for over thirty years of football.

I have never been and will ever be a liverpool fan so where you get that from god only knows but i am open to be proved wrong please enlighten everyone, in fact i have only been on liverpools ground on perhaps 6 occasions other than when latics have played there – and one of them was for a rugby league match.

Just who are we going to beat then ? If Everton turn us over at home on Sat I fully expect the ” Everton are a team full of quality ” There have been excuses upon excuses this season after heartless and gutless defeats and I for one am sick of it ! I have accepted the little club syndrome and I have accepted the keep the club financially sound business but please don’t try and tell me that RM has done a sterling job with what he has because he hasn’t ! Surly from as long back as Sept DW would have noticed his shortcomings and frailties but he has just sat back and not helped the poor fella. He should have got in a decent sidekick for RM, someone with experience who could have advised him and even taken a little bit of the pressure off him but no, that would be too simple ! Playing a proven down the line winger as a wing back on his debut with what looked like orders to not venture too far is nothing but pure folly if you ask me ! Did we get a central defender before the deadline ? We desperately need to shore up what is proving to be an abysmal back line and the lack of goals problem seems to have been overlooked as well ! If I didn’t know better I would say that the intention is to get relegated !!

It just seems that way and to be honest it wouldn’t do DW any favours financially so perhaps he has just lost all interest or the plot ! One or the other !!
