close game today but what a Great 3 points. Even more brilliant, how good was Bo’s goal :)
2 January 2014 at 1:30 am #125530Three successive clean sheets (Managerial influence, Al-Habsi impact). Build from the back … (the basis of any half-decent team).
UR mixed up the tactics to outdo Derby today.
Augers well …
:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
Just need a good January window (min. striker), and with a little luck (injuries etc.) we could soon be on our way ….
(minimum) play-offs here we come.

2 January 2014 at 2:02 am #125532Interesting one – Derby will expect to tonk us after that debacle in November and I’m sure our players will be up for this one. Most championship teams even those in form have a wobble at some point and I have a sneaky feeling for this one.Worked out just as I thought they turned up thinking it would be a coast and how wrong they were -our lads looked very well organised and jean scored a superb goal at just the right time.
they had a couple of chances but to be honest we could have won the game more comfortably and things are starting to get exciting with the way uwe has got them playing.2 January 2014 at 2:29 am #125533Interesting one – Derby will expect to tonk us after that debacle in November and I’m sure our players will be up for this one. Most championship teams even those in form have a wobble at some point and I have a sneaky feeling for this one.

Packed the midfield with workers and stopped them from playing their game. When he took roger off for macca that seemed to open the game up a bit more and derby looked more threatening. We could have a future top manager at our club?

Where have we heard that before?
That was a gritty, well orchestrated 3 nurps, onwards and upwards!!
Dare I say it, there are a few winnable games coming up in the next 5-6 weeks, lets keep our clean sheets and find that fox in the box and its really game on. :cheer:
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!2 January 2014 at 3:45 am #125539Uwe Rosler said;
“We had a game plan and played differently than they expected us to. We decided not to play our passing game and wanted to have a high line and I think it worked very well – we had more attempts on goal and the better chances in the first half.
“The substitution played a part in the goal and it was great individual skill from Beausejour. He’s a player we can use in all positions on the left-hand side and he showed today why he is probably going to the World Cup.”
2 January 2014 at 4:08 am #125541Ours is the result the rest of the teams in the division will be taking note of tonight.
A pivotal game for us. 5 points out of 9 over Xmas is decent in this division. Shame we couldn’t have nicked one of the home games. It could so easily have been 2 points out of 9 or 7 out of 9.
Spare a thought for those with no hair left to pull out had we finished the Xmas programme pointless :woohoo:
KTF
