Has Di Santo been snapped up by Barcelona yet? Better be quick before Martinez comes in for him. Didn’t he say that he was good enough to be playing alongside Messi B) Notice he hasn’t come back for our other Barelonaesk player GOMEZ, who he said was as good as Iniesta
25 June 2013 at 7:50 pm #116866There are rumours that West Brom are interested in Kone and Di Santo. I thought that they struck up a good partnership.
Di Santo does play with Messi – in the Argentina national team.
Gomez was born in Barcelona and signed for them as a youth player. He played for Martinez at Swansea before signing for Wigan.
25 June 2013 at 7:50 pm #116867Martinez has left and everyone on here has already got over it.
Maybe you should try getting over it too eh?!?

I think we’d be better keeping hold of him.

Agreed! 12 Goals in the championship from midfield ! I will be chuffed if we get 12 goals out of any of our strikers !
25 June 2013 at 9:55 pm #116870Deleted – mistaken identity, I think!
26 June 2013 at 1:42 am #116880I would be well pissed off if gomez left, our best midfielder by a mile. Can’t see what the jocks do, no goals for a start. In fact Macarthy is well over-rated. Gomez is the only player left at the club who can thread a pass.

26 June 2013 at 3:56 pm #116903Watson although he was not Prem standard ( Thanks for the header by the way ! ) will be above average in the Championship in my view. Both he and Gomez fit into that category and would be beneficial to our attempt at getting back to the greed league !

(Ps. it’s only called the ‘greed league’ by jealous teams in other leagues with no money!)
