One of the players that needs to go if we stay up. Has not lived up to his potential with only a handful of stand out performances including the remarks about Wigan earlier in the season. He is infuriatingly talented but just does not want to show it.
Wigan midfielder Mohamed Diame has admitted it would be difficult to turn down a move to Sevilla.
The Senegal international has recently been linked with the Spanish outfit after impressing with the Latics this season, and he has previously played in Spain with Rayo Vallecano.
The 23-year-old insists he is focused on keeping Wigan in the Premier League, with the Latics in the bottom three on goal difference as they travel to Stoke for the final game of the season on Sunday.But Diame has refused to pledge his future to a club that could be heading for the Championship next season.
“There are not many people in the world of football who could say no to Sevilla,” he said.

“I have one more year and I do not know what will happen or if I’ll renew my contract.”

I think you’d have to take that (even if we stay up!) but I can’t see it happening at that price.
That’s what the paper quoted yesterday, I would presume it would be nearer 5m if we stay up and around 3m if we go down. Big question is, How much is Charles going for. If he turns in a performance like last week his value could have gained an extra 5m in just two games.
If that mon leaves for anything less than a proper top 6 club or a top European club it would ruin his career. Liverpool keep going on about how much the need a winger. None of them seem to rate N’Zogbia although he has had the better of every wing back in the league this season. Every time i see a quote about him on one of their forums thay say he is not good enough and is over rated, He just isnt. He can go around anyone. If Fergie could fit him in im sure he would be in for him.

I can honestly see this lad having a bright EPL future. His biggest failings at the moment seem to be consistency and fitness.
I have noticed an improvement in the latter recently and with his heart condition, it may be something that the medical team are working on gradually.He often shows that bit of flamboyancy that gives me the impression he’s got something.
£8m is fek aw in the scheme of things these days, who would you get, perhaps someone like Keiron Richardson, Joey Barton, Glenn Whelan, Seb Larsson or some unproven championship player who had a good season last year.
i personally can’t get worked up about any of the above or similar players.
I totally disagree with your views on this and hope we keep this mon for at least another couple of seasons, then you might then be looking at £28m player. :think:
