So he’s had a good game. Didn’t doubt he’s a good player. But Uwe has his system, and decided Dicko didn’t fit into that. He’s doing well, in one game, at Wolves, so good for him.
If you want to understand and appreciate what managers are now doing, and how tactics and systems work, I suggest you read “Inverting the Pyramid” by Jonathan Wilson, and you will maybe understand how things are in the real world.
One player having a good game (and hopefully for him other good games, except against us) does not give any reason why he should have stayed with us. He’s gone – or shall we have a “Bottom Four Nouah Dicko” thread?
