Martinez has just been interviewed on SSN -dont know if it was a repeat from earlier – but they were asking about his decision to stay – he said “the chairman came out quite clearly he his here for the long run and we both have a job to do”
does this mean that whelans statements earlier this season to get out as soon as possible has been put on the back burner, if it is good news all round -INCLUDING martinez staying.
I have to admit whelan is a master at maximising the publicity for a club as small as ours.
