And I mean yesterday, not last season.

For all the time he was in charge I kept by the line of “He is one of ours, we want him to do well”. When he left I – although saddened and disappointed – kept by the same mantra.

Last night though – I won’t be forgiving.

Whatever part he had in it, the poor offerings and very late eventual transfer left us with no time to invest in what we need – as someone said in other posts, a forward. Maybe that will come via the loan market but for now the late deal effectively shafted any option we had of immediate reinvestment – whilst QPR did get in some players who will make a difference going forward.

So for his part in that I really have lost the support I had for him. He was part of actions last night hat hurt us in terms of success this season. The decree nisi – the divorce is now complete. do I wish Everton bad? Sadly yes, they’re collateral damage, as I hope he goes down again and they have to go to make that happen.

Of course it’s just wishful thinking. Same as thinking he had some loyalty for us as we have still shown him.

Welcome to reality. If you thought at any time that a football manager/club (let alone one that has just left us) gives a shit about any club other than the one he is at, then think again my friend. Loyalty? That doesn’t exist, it’s dog eat dog.

If we really wanted to do a deal for a forward it should have been done before yesterday we all knew mcarthy was going last night it got announced and not thirty seconds later he was at the training ground it was about whelan trying to get a bit more money which he did

towdthi I agree I never went along with all this Bobby Latics Legend crap How he loves Wigan more then anything else. I can tell you that he knew he was going to Everton months ago, just as Moyes knew he was going to Utd. I was told by a VERY GOOD source i.e. someone who was there when it was said, that after the Everton game in the cup. Bob came into the dressing room and said to Jones “That’s the best job interview we could have had”

I don’t think Martinez or Everton shafted us at all,the deal for Mac was probably done and dusted yonks ago.Fellaini out Jimmy in as replacement job done. Trouble is Man Ure, the Eddie Stobarts of the football world spent so much time fannying around and generally fecking up everything they touched that it was down to them alone time ran out. Had they not signed the woolly haired one Mac would still be with us. Just my thoughts.

If you do live in Salford that was probably the most enlightening 8 seconds of your life. Pity your ego missed it.

Far from first post, just a rare thing – to the point I could not log in on the old one, so created a new similar one.

Hey up mate Griff will be on in a bit saying you are embarrassing yourself.

            From Matlock to ManU

Roberto shafted us the night we played Swansea !
I’m convinced his mind was on the Everton job that he had signed up to before the game. His team selection was poor and his performance as a Manager was gutless; especially against a Swansea side that didn’t really give a toss !

Actually I think we got shafted by Whelan.

The bid was accepted at what 10.45. 13 million in Daves pocket with absolutely no time to spend it.

Even 30 mins earlier we could have upped the bid for Rhodes !!!!

And you know this for a fact do you the main reason the bid came in so late for McCarthy was because of Man Utd imo they has fucked about for weeks with the Fallini deal and could of got him for much cheaper this gave Everton the funds to go for our lad the domino effect see

Exactly! However most of the herberts on here would rather just slag off Martinez than face facts.
