most business’s adopt a charity to support and though you may feel because they dont contribute to the one closest to you they dont care that is totally wrong,
i know for a fact that latics as a club and the players do alot both in time and financial support for a charity that is also supported by the company my wife works for.

I do love the word agog, though
About 10 years ago, I did a similar charity thing where I contacted loads of clubs from up and down the country. The response I had was fantastic. I list below the items and responses I received, as best as I can remember.
Arsenal- a polite letter saying they can’t help in this case.
Spurs- a fully signed team-photo, Sheringham, et al.
Everton- a fully signed team-photo, including Paul Gascoigne.
Liverpool- Information on joining their fan club. Photo of Owen.
Man Utd- a polite letter saying they get so many requests……fair enough.
Wolves- a signed pennant.
Tranmere- signed items.
Brighton- Signed photo of then manager Peter Taylor.
Can’t remember what else came. But I know for a fact that I received NOTHING from Latics, which I was highly disappointed about. Quickest to respond were EVERTON, within 5 days.
Items were donated to a kids charity and raffled off.
Obviously, Latics are still crap at this kind of thing. Do we have a fans liason officer? Christ, give me the job!!!
