This article is one of the most laughable things i have ever read. Rodallega is the most overrated player ever and im a latics fan. Watch him week in week out misses many chances scores good goals on occasions but other than this contributes nothing to the team. Always tries to break the back of the net rather than place it in the net, and so often skys/scuffs the ball. He should have been dropped long ago and if we do get 10 mil for him, I would suggest whelan bite off the hand feeding it him.

Many of my friends who are Bolton, Utd, City, Liverpool fans all seem to think he is our best player also maybe he looks good on MOTD or highlights. I do agree with parts of the article though if the supply was better or if someone was up front with him then he would score a lot more than he does

having someone up front with you wouldn’t exactly make you a better finisher now would it? he’s good when he puts his mind to it but he’s been badly off form recently and he has been given enough chances this season to have at least double that goal tally

No it wouldnt but it would allow him more time and lighten the work load would only have 1 or 2 defenders on him instead of the 4 or 5 he has had all season

There’s a lot of untapped potential in Hugo which we have been wasting by firstly playing him on the left for half a season and then by not playing someone with him who can set him up.

He is less of a poacher than Boselli, so doesn’t need to be fed as much, but he’d do a lot better with a partner.

That said, his accuracy when does get a chance is awful – half the time he doesn’t even make the keeper work. And his work rate is almost as bad as Figueroa or Koumas.

              From the writer’s profile:

‘I am an enthusiastic and dedicated freelance football writer with a passion for the beautiful game. I am a lifelong Spurs fan and of British origin but I am currently based in Western Australia’

Or to translate: My family are from Britain, and I’m giving football journalism a bash. I watch Spurs games on Fox, and have see the highlights from other teams.

This quote sums up his knowledge: ‘The Colombian is your stereotypical centre forward; big, powerful, strong and fast, good in the air and he has an eye for goal.’

Rodallega is small, skinny, not strong, not that fast, not big enough to be good in the air, and is cross-eyed in front of goal, but apart from that, this lad’s got it spot on.

Do you think he’s confused Rodallega with Drogba?
