12 February 2010 at 11:27 am #22510Yeah tea bag head, stop being so positive and put us down for relegation. The manager, the tactics, the fans and the racism will send us down, dont forget that !
12 February 2010 at 11:57 am #22513I’ve got us staying up in 16th place with 37 points which surprised me. Think it had more to do with how badly I ranked some teams as opposed to any belief I have in us
Anyway Pompey, Bolton & Hull to go down – although for some reason Hull had only played 37 games (along with 3 other teams) & were only 2 behind Wolves
12 February 2010 at 12:05 pm #22515All pretty meaningless though, isn’t it really? It’s an interesting excercise, no doubt, but if it was that easy and reliable we’d all be down at Ladbrokes now flicking through holiday brochures.
I just think that it will go right to the wire and my head in discussion with my heart says that Portsmouth, plus any 2 from Hull, Wolves and Burnley will go.
My head, working on its own, hasn’t got a clue.
12 February 2010 at 12:37 pm #22519I did it, and I was as honest as I could be, basing results on how we’ve been playing, and how others have, and not being over optimistic and predicting we’d beat someone 3-0, and someone else 31, etc. I mean, why do that, when we’ve never done that, or looked like doing that, most of the season? So it’s been a case of 1-1 draws and 2-1 defeats in the main.
I didn’t view the table until I’d done ALL the games, so I wouldn’t predjudice it. I was stunned when I looked at the table and it had us BOTTOM, with 30 points and a goal difference of -39.
Honestly, it could happen. Probably won’t, but frighteningly, it might.
BTW- Chelsea won the league, United second, and City got the 5th spot. Can’t recall who the other relegated sides were, I think it was Hull and Portsmouth.
