For those who didnt go we havnt heard much on here very positive yet about the day and indeed the coverage of Latics recieving the trophy has been really minor on tv.
I havnt heard a great deal other than a coiple of bad experiences of the day. Seen a few interviews and minor highlights on You tube.
Any links to videos anywhere else please.8 May 2018 at 12:10 pm #1689488 May 2018 at 6:10 pm #168956Apart from my gripes about individuals behaviour, here’s my ten penneth….
The match. First half, dull affair, thought they had too much of the ball, though they never looked like scoring really. We needed to up our game. Second half, we did. Took more control, but still we didn’t create a lot in front of goal. But then came the killer ball through by Powell and Grigg made no mistake. Great finish. Was he onside? Well, they gave it!
Away support was very loud and in great numbers.weve received praise off a lot of Doncaster fans. Some good videos on YouTube, and Vlogs. I like the Keepmoat, it’s a nice stadium. It was good when word came through that Oxford had equalised at Ewood Park, singing Championes and all that. And then we scored.
Celebrations were a bit disappointing for me. Hardly saw the presentation because of pitch encroached and stewards. Ah well. We move on.

9 May 2018 at 10:55 am #169005Great day. Great atmosphere. Great memories.40 odd year old blokes dancing about like dickheads, jumping over the hoardings and rushing to hug and kiss grown men who earn thousands a week. Bit cringey.
Definitely some ADHD cases going on, there. Some were an embarrassment to themselves. Weren’t even watching game, some of them. Just craving attention for themselves.
9 May 2018 at 4:13 pm #169015Some class it as living the dream….the Doncaster stewards where not in control.it look well when one our own stewards at to get the fans back of the pitch. Well done fella.
9 May 2018 at 7:25 pm #169029The players looked like they hated it. I mean one of them actually jumped into teh stands to get away at one point.

I could be wrong ( Social media ambiguity and all that ) but I think he was being sarcastic! :)
12 May 2018 at 2:32 pm #169104New video on club website featuring the day is brilliant and demonstrates the massive positive side of the match and is another forward thinking move from Latics marketing. Brilliant Latics.
14 May 2018 at 2:23 am #169157Nearly everything about the day was fantastic….
Bad bit, screaming blokes behind me telling fans to kin get off the ****** pitch. They were worse than the old blokes invading the pitch..Best bit, Dave Whelan pulling up at the side of us at traffic lights in Doncaster
