If we drew every game to the end of the season would we stay up?
As at the moment I think that is the best case scenario with the current setup
26 February 2017 at 7:27 pm #155974Actually a win and a loss gains more points than two draws

27 February 2017 at 1:57 am #155983What’s our record season for games where we haven’t scored? 15 games so far in the league is bloody impressive even by our standards.
27 February 2017 at 8:28 pm #156011need to be averaging 2 points a game not 1. don’t think 43 pints would be enough to stay up. though last year was 40 points, season before 41 (we had 39) and season before that was 54

Someone should have said that last August!!! Getting a bit late now. Worse than Rosler and Malky between them!!

You’d have thought the analysts and statisticians would have noticed it, tbh ;)
27 February 2017 at 11:34 pm #156041I find it all a bit annoying this as it could, and should have been so different.
We haven’t been outplayed all season, and most of the defeats have been by a single goal. With just the slightest tweek in the tactics of both Caldwell and this mon, things could have been so different.
Even if we had still lost most of them , but got a few draws out of the defeats and the odd win from the draws by scoring just one goal per game, we would be nowhere near as bad off as we are now.
I know it all ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’, but surely they must realise by now that the tactics and team selections they have made in the last 34 bloody games between them, has been wrong and needs looking at immediately before we are totally cast adrift.

May have to resort to downing 43 pints to cope with watching any more of the tripe.
28 February 2017 at 1:32 pm #156057If ifs and ands were pots and pans, there’d be no work for tinkers hands!
4 wins, 4 draws and 4 defeats would probably see us safe but 2 of those wins must come in the next 3 games, the ones against our relegation rivals! If we don’t beat them then I can only see one outcome in May!
