25 February 2017 at 11:08 pm #155901Joyce cant sort it, he is out of his depth
That sums it up perfectly.
25 February 2017 at 11:24 pm #155904end of day after today im no longer arsed ill save my money ;)
Just what we need. Fans getting behind the club. It sadly cant always be about promotions & winning cups, sometimes football serves up dross. Yes today was absolute dross. But we still need to get behind them.
Runcorn i have seen it all good and bad also good and bad management oh the bill kenyon years they where bad
Whelan years upto winning the fa cup where great but what happened after the cup win an alarming decline in standard of players and manager._.As if job done won the cup ill now wind the club down slowly ._but thats how i see it
Financialy totally agree on a sound footing._but as a spectator at present not worth paying to watch when you pay for something i expect something back in return not shyte._._.How many shots on goal today ?
Bicky, so you were there then during the kenyon days & i presume the kenny swain days, which IMO was the worst football by a wigan team ever. Then you have seen some dross like myself. However, we are both still here. Why! Because we support this club. We love this club. And we will still be here in years to come. Hopefully with much more exciting football to watch.
25 February 2017 at 11:26 pm #155905Totally disagree the players are not arsed they are just being totally stifled by the managers negative tactics.I believe they are so much better than what they are being allowed to show.
Formations are irrelevant when we don’t support them. Central midfielders in wide positions and full backs that don’t get forward.
His double subs lifted everyone but then cancelled it all with the final one especially by employing the same tactic.
Hansen had all the right side to himself but never crossed the half way line. Why?
Must not get beat tactics in a must win game.Cannot disagree
25 February 2017 at 11:30 pm #155907While walking over the bridge I heard 3 different groups of fellas all saying the exact things:-
No width, all midfielders doing the, same job,
Why did he bring Obertan on and play him up front when he’s a wideman,
Why take off Bogle when were desperate for goals ?, 7 minutes won’t make make a sod of difference.
I’m sorry but I don’t blame any player. This manager thinks that if he floods the midfield we can stifle the opposition. Zero shots on goal is embarrassing. And why the F bring on Gilby for 35minutes when he hasn’t played for months on end with bad injuries. 10-15 minutes would have been enough.
Joyce, you did a fantastic job at Utd but it’s time to throw the towel in at Wigan and fook off, your out your depth. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out were your going wrong.
25 February 2017 at 11:34 pm #155909Must not get beat tactics which may just see us playing in League One next season.
25 February 2017 at 11:37 pm #155910Bang on……he is completely out of his depth.Managing in the development league is no training for arguably one of the toughest leagues in Europe. Hierarchy have dropped a major bollock ,and a 3 1/2 deal to boot. What a cock up .Jrfatfan and his winnable game tosh……of course their winnable but we fall flat every time.Admit it …they are poor..Rovers will dick us as well…..as winnable as it is !!!
26 February 2017 at 12:26 am #155920Lose next week & it might be curtains for joyce.
26 February 2017 at 1:42 am #155923Lose next week & it might be curtains for joyce. And for Latics in the Championship. I hope your wrong or it will prove Sharpe was wrong in not sacking him weeks ago and the vengaboys of blackburn got it right
26 February 2017 at 2:04 am #155927Runcorn, lose next week and it could be curtains for our Championship survival
26 February 2017 at 5:57 am #155949Wrong team selection to start with, wrong substitutions and more importantly probably the wrong choice of manager in the first place.
We are devoid of any ideas at the moment.
To sum up, we’re shite and we’re going down!!!Us football fans are the best in the world at picking teams……after the fekin match!
Everyone I spoke to today before the KO were going on about finally playing 442, two up front and finally giving the new lads a chance.
I thought individually you couldn’t say they played bad, they just lacked any creativity in their third. One pass too many, a through ball that was just too far or cut out by the skin of the defender’s boot.
Did they deserve to be boo’d? I don’t believe in doing that it just doesn’t do any good.
I really felt we needed to win today to push forward in two winnable away games over the next 10 days, now the players will be on the floor and as disappointed as the rest of us.We need to stick by um though, I’ll be cheering them on at Ewood and St Andrews, I’ll leave the cyber moaning to the usual suspects.
Don’t think anybody is blaming the players JR, Just Joyce. Lowey summed it up in his post! Joyce is setting them up to play his way, and quite frankly it aint a good way.
What bothers me now is I saw two players subbed today who were not happy leaving the pitch. & Believe Grigg booted the ball into the crowd at full time?! That doesn’t look like a happy camp. -
