I’m looking to join a gym again after a few years any many added pounds. I wondered if anyone knows if you got any money off monthly price at DW for being a season ticket holder?

11 May 2011 at 10:51 pm #65125If you are thinking of joining a gym simply just to lose weight i wouldn’t. The only way of losing the pounds is aerobic exercise, i.e jogging/running, Lifting weights will build muscle but unless you lose the layer of fat covering them you will never see it. Just go for a jog a few days a week down the canal, round a field e.t.c. Jog around for a bit until your body can physically go no further so you know what kind of condition you are in for a starting point then and add a little bit more distance every time until you are doing at least 20 mins a session. Save your money on the gym’s just do the basics first.

11 May 2011 at 11:57 pm #65131I’m a member there and have been for a couple of years. If you do get money off for being a season ticket holder then i’ve never heard about it.
Only real perk you get by being a member is 10% off at the adjoining shop.

12 May 2011 at 2:32 am #65139The most successful way of losing weight is quite simple.
You need to get a yourself slice of waffer thin ham, wipe it around the inside of your bog, leave it in a warm place for a couple of days then eat it……..the weight drops of you!
21 May 2011 at 12:43 pm #66221The only way to lose weight is to burn off more calories than you take in, how ever you choose to do that. Since beer contains lots of calories it does present you with a serious dilemma.

Your Mrs and your family and friends will still love you. Believe me.
I’ve just resigned from said club as I hardly ever went.
