As a smoker it was good to find out yesterday that you can enjoy a sly puff outside at halftime where the East Stand joins the South Stand ! The far steps down and doors open for all us gaspers ! I was never one for a sly cig in the bogs but this will stop that and can only be a good thing no ?
As far as I know they open all the doors and let you out, and have done for most of the seasonNot all the doors, just at the the end of the stand! First for me yesterday!

Some may be fatal and others can cause irreversible long-term damage to your health. I wouldn’t agree it was a good thing, but I’m in the Springfield.

They opened one in the West Stand south corner against Bournemouth, but not sure if they ever have for a league game. I think they should for every match, what harm does it do anyone but the smokers.I don’t smoke but bloody hell its all pathetic. I used to love the smell of pipe smoke on the Pop side at Springfield. Can understand the no smoking on the concourse but a ban on smoking outside just takes a bit of getting your head round.
