I for one will boo him the moment he walks out in a Wigan shirt.
Scum is all you can say about him.

I’ve never boo’ed anyone in a Wigan Shirt (ohhh! get me), however, I believe this would be a signing that would divide both the terraces and the dressing room.
Not a welcome move (if it is correct).
In my humble opinion.
27 January 2011 at 3:43 pm #57134Please God! anybody but that gobsh*te!
27 January 2011 at 4:03 pm #57136Lee Hughes would be marginally less of a preferred move
27 January 2011 at 4:12 pm #57137First off – I despise this man with a passion and it would be an unpopular move with the fans as the – albeit small – number of replies to this thread thus far shows.
That said…
There are a very limited number of experienced ‘quality’ players about for a wages-only cost. If the bloke might be available on a free, as the article suggests, is it not worth giving a contract to the end of the season? He doesn’t have to be a regular starter, but as we have a paper thin squad he could someone we might turn to if needed.
As I say, not popular, but I’m just saying…
27 January 2011 at 4:14 pm #57138I was at the game when he spat at a Celtic fan. And a man who spat in the face of Wigans greatest player dosnt deserve to put the shirt on….
Honestly if I didnt have a season ticket then I wouldnt go.

It’s hard playing the ‘Devil’s Advocate’ Griff isn’t it…… however, it’s a fair point you make about……. There are a very limited number of experienced ‘quality’ players about for a wages-only cost.….
The balance being ‘what he can bring to our game with his experience’ against any damage done to (dare I say) the ‘fragile confidence’ of the team and supporters.
Interesting one this………..
…………..still don’t what him here though.
27 January 2011 at 4:54 pm #57147If he’s better than what we’ve got at the moment (which he is) then I’d welcome him with open arms.
Personally I couldn’t care whether he’s spat at some celtic supporter who was giving him stick or arry de zeeuw for that matter or whatever else he’s alleged or been proved to have done – as long as he can produce the goods whilst wearing a Latics shirt then that’s enough for me
I’d rather have a team full of Hadji-Diouf’s than one full of mother theresa’s
27 January 2011 at 5:17 pm #57151I’d rather have a team full of Hadji-Diouf’s than one full of mother theresa’sIn an ideal world, I wouldn’t. But the world is far from being ideal at the moment is it?

27 January 2011 at 5:20 pm #57153No , no , no , NO !!!!
I wouldn’t let him or his s***house agent anywhere near this club.
I’d rather re-sign Jeff Peron. :o

If it’s an A or B choice, I’d definitely have Diouf in that case. I’ve heard Mother Theresa is bobbins at football.27 January 2011 at 6:17 pm #57159I’ve heard Mother Theresa is bobbins at football.I presume she used to play at Southampton? :?
With all those seamen knocking around, she probably got into some nasty habits down there.
Tha’s geet a PM, by t’way

She was signed from St Mirren. (had a blinder in a pre-season friendly that foretold the future)Got the PM, and in response, the Mrs says thanks for the offer, but she’s sure we can get pills from the chemist to help us out with our ‘little’ problem.
