Hamburg have confirmed we have made a bid to take him on loan, so there is some truth in it.
I dont think he is as skillful as N’Zogbia but he is faster would love to see both of these in the same team with Moses coming off the bench
If the BBC quote below is anything like accurate, I don’t hold out much hope of this lad coming to us. Unless he fancies six months in the shop window before securing a move to a ‘big’ club. He clearly doesn’t put Liverpool in that category.
0851 GMT: Hamburg attacker Eljero Elia might be a target for Liverpool but Anfield is not one of the stadiums the Dutch international is dreaming of playing in. The 23-year-old said: “Clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United really are something special.”
I’m not being funny but I once dreamt of playing at the Nou Camp for Barcelona but I’d settle for a 10 minute run out for St Helens Rovers at Parr Stocks at the moment!!!
If he isn’t getting a game for Hamburg I doubt that he’ll get signed by Real, United or Barcelona so he can dream on. I think the original article is intended to mock Liverpool fans that potential signings no longer regard them as one of the “biggies”
Liverpool fans have to be among the most deluded in the country in my opinion. They rival the Geordies in that respect.
How long have Liverpool been a two-man team now? Yet as soon as “Stevie G” and Torres go missing and the rest of the team are exposed as the dross that they are, who is it who gets the blame? Poor old Hodgson who has hardly had any time to shift out the poor players and bring his own ones in.
In the words of a former mentally ill manager “I’d love it, love it” if they went down. It won’t happen, but I think I would actually lose control of my bladder if it did :D
How many times have you heard when their being link to liverpool, ther fans claiming players not good enough for us la la la’this season is a welcome to the real world, cud you imagine if they did go down, never hear the last    be good though.
