I know we have been lulled into a false sense of security on numerous occasions this season but I do have a good feeling about today! Leeds fans should add to the atmosphere and I just feel it in my bones that today is gonna be a good day for Wigan Athletic! :)

Good luck to the lads today. Im in work but will be there in spirit. I feel that if we win today we WILL do it.
7 March 2015 at 9:44 pm #140165Well sorry but we lost again.
We didn’t deserve to lose today.Well I suppose we did actually as we had 3 great chances to score and if someone had been prepared to gamble and run into the far post area there was an easy tap in on offer X 3.
There was nothing between the teams though and we should have got at least a point.
Nice speech from Mr W. and his put down of the chanting Leeds was brilliant.
7 March 2015 at 10:02 pm #140167The manager changed the line up and paid the price!

From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!7 March 2015 at 10:54 pm #140175An enforced change maybe but why not play Waghorn instead of Clarke? Nobody I speak to can understand how one of our best players never starts and in fact today didn’t even come on.
When he brought a striker on, he took Fortune off. That striker was the 6 yard box finisher we needed said McKay but only brings him on for 10 minutes. How many balls across that box today yet no goal scorer there to finish. Meanwhile 2 strikers are out on loan and 2 on the bench!
Everyone on the pitch tried hard, especially Fortune, and probably didn’t deserve to lose but when we set up how we did today and have done previously, we won’t score enough goals to win games.

I meant the way they lined up! Why didn’t he keep McClean on the wing and replace Clarke with one of our redundant strikers that we never see?
8 March 2015 at 12:11 am #140178The sooner we stop playing Fortune the better. He has to be the worst striker we have had on a games played ratio. Holding the ball up ain’t enough. Getting into positions to score or creating a chance or god forbid SCORING A GOAL is what he should be doing. Absolute garbage, I’m not having it that he is better than Rierra.
That’s my moan over. Thought we played well when we went 1 behind. Kim looks to be our best player. Boyce s passing was awful. Must have give the ball away 9 or so times. If we loose next week I think it’s over.
8 March 2015 at 11:51 am #140190Effort was 9 out of 10 but quality was 1 out of 10 and the situation now is much worse and almost an impossible one.
Our team last season would have stuck three or four past that very poor Leeds side and despite their supporters arrogance they are light years away from the big time. -
