I don’t believe its down to the foreign players or the Premier League. We have players who are better than they have elsewhere but we can never seem to pick the correct blend. Being England manager is the toughest and worse job in football and so the F A will always go for the safe option. The media will always crucify any failing England manager so the pressure on the guy is immense and relentless. It’s always a case of who you play for rather than what form your is. Otherwise if he picked players from lesser clubs and results went tits up the media would go into a feeding frenzy against him. Take last night, he rotated the diamond to accommodate players within the squad and we struggled to beat a far inferior team to ours.Im not a fan of Woy and I think the way he has outed Sterling being tired shows he cannot man manage but I would not swap jobs with him for a gold pig.Being England head coach is an impossible task and good luck to Woy now and the future list of mugs in the hot seat, YOU ARE GONNA NEED IT.
Question for you all, when rules changed and more subs were allowed on the bench and squad sizes greatly increased, did it make it easier or harder for the manager?
One last gripe, the cretins who run the game in England have come up with the brilliant idea of awarding more loyalty points to those fans who go to Wembley than those who follow the team all over the globe. Stupendous, only the F A
So glad I gave my membership up ;)
