Can’t even look forward to this as we will get crushed within the 1st 35 mins. Another useless money making friendly engineered by the f.a. Even when we get a weekend off, we still have no football to look forward to! Oh well could be worse…..could be pnethor.
Hope they wear the poppy shirts though, bout time they showed some balls.
8 November 2011 at 5:38 pm #73894I’m going to the game on Saturday, mainly to see Spain (but also I’ve not been to “new” Wembley.
Will be wearing a poppy on my shirt though.

They’ll do it again, there must be a few coming over.it’s a complete sell out. Although the jobsworth’s at fifa will turn a blind eye and be more arsed about the poppy situation. They better wear them on sat. I will be and so should everyone else. Feck em

Patriotic punt on England tomorrow. Don’t know why fat frank is captain though? out with the old and all that, give it to joe hart or someone like that. “the old guard” are on their way out and have no desire anymore. Get the young’ uns in and give them the experience. Spain had to bite the bullet and start somewhere with their young pups! Big names don’t win tournaments, they win sponsorship contracts.
COME ON ENGLAND………………..AND WAFC

Plus point, same pot (2) as the germans and italy, so can’t draw them.
Negative point, We could land spain or holland in the group stage
Hopefully we’ll get either poland or ukraine, as they are top seeds as hosts along with spain and holland.
Best possible draw – poland, england, greece, denmark
worst possible draw – spain, england, portugal, france.
Draw is on friday 2nd december

Not being funny or owt but I would hazzard a guess out of the teams who have made the finals are a amongst the top 50 in the world In my opinion this trophy is harder to win than the world cup

It goes straight to 1/4 finals after group stage. It’s a lot more difficult as you can’t rely on tonking some random african nation like togo. They are all good sides who have qualified.
