Left back who I would have thought logical choice to replace Figueroa would be left back Eric Edman. Also with other defenders like Amaya, Boyce, Bramble, Scharner and Melchiot, surely the decision to put NZogbia at left back was a serious flaw. Hes started to be a real threat on that right wing, so we put him left back.
Also as far as players in general, before we signed James McCarthy we were told how good he was and we stole him from under the noses of other premiership clubs. So anyone know whats happened to this guy?
Eric is injured with abad yed and McCarthy not geet a clue in response to Edmen the answer was in another thread
I watched McCarthy playing for Ireland u21’s a couple of weeks ago. I was quite impressed , especially as he’s still not turned 19 and was playing with and against players with much more experience.
Could be one for the future IF he’s given time !!!! :roll:
