i`ve been unlucky in that no jollies left this year,so carn`t go to any of the away games in Europe, now England have qualified and Wigan r looking good in Europe what would you lot do Brazil or Latics in Europe in the next phase of comp , carn`t afford both .
And that’s the real reason England continue to make up the numbers at a European or World Cup.
We have the richest league in the world (and the richest 2nd league   ). We have the finest national stadium in the world…we have a top class set of grounds, yet Russia and Qatar ( :S ) get the world cup ahead of us.
The England team should be a footballing superpower…I refer back to my original point as to why we are not.
But what would you do Leyland, land of the samba (possibly never again in my life time in Brazil) or Wigan (possibly never again in Europe) , lotto ticket i think

Well I’m trying my hardest to do Wigan in Europe…but it’s not working out :S
Brazil. Well there’s a footballing place. All Brazillians are great footballers (apart from Emerson Thome )
I missed seeing England win the World Cup by 2.5 years…so yes I’d love to see it happen.

More chance of you getting a winning lotto ticket than a Latics Europa away ticket ;)
Must agree with your comment on that one, seems to have been a right pain for some getting their hands on the golden tickets for the away games, and to think it should be our golden hour in football and it seems to be making our fans mad.

As you said, England just make up the numbers these days and so why would you want to spunk loads of money on a fruitless trip ? If you want to go to Brazil just go on a package holiday without the stress ! Support your club but that would appear to be difficult due to certain incompetencies ! 3 weeks in Brazil package job sounds very appealing ! :)

10-15 upset people out 11,000 isn’t bad, even out of 800 it still isn’t bad.
Just the very loud minority again.
I got an exceptional service from the ticket office (as did over 600 others) with no hassle and a lot of patience with me whilst I was faffing about. Incompetence certainly isn’t what I witnessed.
I think that the people who got tickets – the majority of those wanting one, I imagine – will be very happy.
They are not questioning the priority for sales, the travel information required or the problems with the phone line.
The others may still have a legitimate complaint.
By the way, the complaints aren’t about the attitude of the staff serving the customers, but about the way the club has handled the sale of the tickets.
